Strolling Around Haji Lane Singapore
In my previous post, I mentioned that I am completing Cosmo's list of places to visit in Singapore and here's another. I and my friend went for a stroll in Haji Lane, Singapore's original hipster lane. It is worth the detour because of its gorgeous lane full of street art and quirky shops. There is a wide range of cafes, bars and some small uniquely designed shops of almost anything (clothes, souvenirs, etc). You'll be surprised with what every store has to offer combined with the hip vibe of the street corners and walls. Here are some photos were taken while we are there:
You all can't help but notice the remarkable buildings before you reach the lane. Here's one:
I wish I had more time to roam around the area and take as many photos as I want but we got caught up with this unique cafe called "Selfie cafe". The cafe offers an inimitable experience wherein your face will be directly printed at the top of your coffee's whip cream. They will provide you with an iPhone for your selfie, get your order and after a few minutes, you will be amazed by the outcome. You should take all the photos you like before enjoying your coffee though. The Crew is also kind and they convinced us to check their 2nd floor's ambiance. They mentioned that it has a different vibe which is true.
So many places to explore, so little time. Hopefully, I can go to all of the places on my list. I am also considering buying a tripod and a decent camera if blogging will be again a habit. Photos are only taken through my phone so excuse the quality. I love the fact that I feel so safe in Singapore that I can go anywhere alone at times. I also love how convenient their transportation system is.
