Kawa Bath at La VeryOl's Mountain View Garden Tagaytay City

Before my short break from work, I saw pictures all over Facebook and Instagram showing people bathing in a "kawa", a traditional big kettle used to cook food in bulk serving with the use of charcoal and chunks of wood. And I thought it would be nice to try it. Kawa-bath is available in Antique, they have much bigger kawas compared to Tagaytay's. But of course, now that I live in Cavite, I am so much near Tagaytay that we can even drive there 30 minutes without the traffic jam. We wanted to experience "glamping" but unfortunately, our schedule and theirs don't match so we had a 30-minute kawa bath and 1-hour massage instead. They also have "kubos" for those who want to stay overnight and don't prefer sleeping in the tents. Movie night under the stars is an added activity for guests. Their place is nice and exclusive with the overlooking view of Tagaytay. You can park your car outside or inside their gates, whichever is safe. The therapist sold us some bath salts for 100php each and put some flowers all over the kawa.

The total package (30-minutes kawa bath and 1-hour massage) amounted to 900php but the bath bombs at 100php. For bookings, you can reach them thru their Facebook page. It was such a relaxing experience that you should try especially if you and your partner are looking for a quick escape from the city hustle.
