A blast from the past: Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
Unlike my husband, I've always been a fan of old houses. I love big doors, big balconies, wooden railings, wooden stairs and brick walls. So when we got a chance to visit Las Casas in Bataan, I had the time of my life. I wasn't on my "posing-game-for-Instagram" way back then since I got too conscious with my weight gain post-wedding so I only took shots of the place and the room where we stayed. We then got two family rooms adjacent to each other facing the beach. Las Casas is owned by an architect who strives to preserve history. As per the tour guide, he buys houses way back then and got them transferred to Bataan saving all the original materials. Each house has a history and stories to tell. Upon arrival, they welcomed us with free drinks. Staff members are dressed in traditional national costumes even people assigned as security. They also have cultural shows, activities and guided tours for your stay to be memorable. For more details about the place, click on the link.
